Of the six pieces, on a design of Jacques Daret, constituting the tapestry of the History of Fort Roy Clovis offered by the Cardinal of Lorraine Charles de Guise on December 2, 1573 at the Reims Cathedral, only three tapestries remain, two of which are on display in the Tau palace museum (the one of the Battle of Tolbiac in poor condition remaining in reserve): the first figure on the left the Coronation of Clovis in the center and on the right the Battle of Soissons; the other represents on the left the Foundation of the Church of St. Genevieve where were buried Clovis and Clotilde (formerly church of the apostles Pierre & Pol), in the center the Defeat of Gondebaud, king of Burgundy, and on the right an episode of the War against Alaric II, king of the Wisigoths (or Alamans), The Miraculous Crossing of the Vienne thanks to a white deer indicating the ford.
