Abdolrahman Faramarzi

Abdolrahman Faramarzi[a] (Persian: عبدالرحمن فرامرزی; August 11, 1897 – July 11, 1972) was an Iranian journalist, writer, educator, deputy of parliament (the majles) and poet.[1] He was born in Gachuyeh, Faramarzan, Bastak, Hormozgan Province, and died in the capital Tehran.[1] Together with Mostafa Mesbahzadeh, Faramarzi co-founded Kayhan newspaper.[1] Faramarzi was buried in the Behesht-e Zahra cemetery in Tehran.[1]
Faramarzi was also the founder of the short-lived Bahram newspaper.[2]
