Motivation
The Library of Congress maintains a number of controlled vocabularies, some with only tens of entries, some with a few thousand, several of which correspond to codes used in various fields in MARC standards (Q722609) (MARC) records. It would be good to be able to match them to and from here, so that an external statement referencing one of these entities can be matched to here; and also so that we can compare our own ontologies, and consider relationships or items we may be missing. - Support I've used MARC codes, it would be good to have them in wikidata for linking purposes to other identifiers. ArthurPSmith (talk) 17:01, 30 January 2018 (UTC)
